Well done. Put in some info on the effects of manuevers/attachments and no one will need to go anywhere else.

thx, tho i think the info on maneuvers/attachments could go into a 202 or something, because they are alot less straight forward.
it would potentially double the length of the post and i wanna keep it at its current length XD
furthermore not all the attachments have solid test results so i'll wait for em

I'm trying to test the attachments with Tier 1s and 2s, and the Attuner and Target Maker. It's kind of not fun when you are on Ps2, but from what I have done (so far), the tests seem to be within the whole "generally accepted" 5% and 10% rule, with additional Manuevers adding to the effect (5% or 10% depending on the attachment in question). The problems I am really having with calculations right now are with the negative aspect of attachments (like the -acc on Smoke Screen), and stuff that isn't readily apparent, like Optic Fiber. And, I of course can't test on attachments I don't have.
Edit 1: Most interesting thing I've been testing so far are on the Attuner and Target Maker. I haven't seen if it has been posted anywhere else, but it's text is a bit misleading. While Attuner says "enhances attack" and Target Maker "enhances accuracy" I am beggining to believe it instead ignores the +defense bonus and +eva bonus, respectively, mobs get when they scale up in toughness compared to the automaton, with the base boost being 10% by equipping and an additional 10% for each respective manuever, which is what makes them so nice. While it technically is enhancing accuracy and attack, knowing how it does it helps to clarify things, at least for me anyway, when picking and choosing parts.

I love the layout you've done a good job. Very clean cut well done
I do have a question about overloading though.
Say at the start of every fight i used Fire & Thunder Maneuver, then sometimes using Wind and Light Maneuver.
Would there be a good chance of overloading using fire and thunder so much or is it harder to overload than
i think? since i never do :dozingoff

Stunning, beautiful, and a perfect guide. Well done, Spira. I did not even know about the ranged attack speed differences! This is fantastic.
Needless rain on the parade. Just go be special somewhere else Sharazis. This thread is for people who can spell and use grammar correctly >.>

Such a gorgeous layout. I'm jealous of your forum's ability to include images within a post; an aspect you've taken full advantage of. Well done indeed.
One small heads-up. Unless things have changed since July, sharpshot head on stormwaker frame will casts enfeebs. I forget whether sharpshot head on harlequin frame does as well.

I think the attachment part is one of the most important part of guide so it needs to be more detailed please ^^
just some critism of what i would like to see ^^;. I would personally like to see some attachment data so i said
and so if my grammer and spelling is bad i am excluded from posting? that isnt very fair? im not as smart as you but i am a good and devoted pup so i should be able to post what i like to too

thx.. i will consider adding already established ideas of attachments/maneuvers in play, for the sake of being thorough lol
will also get down to testing the 2 frame setups u mentioned yuriO.
edited: just tested them. they both do cast enfeebling after all. thx yuri. OP updated.

I decided to do as sharaz asked and added in the incomplete charts that i had made for myself for ez attachment/maneuver reference. I took these mainly from Pichon's data but also from some other sources I've come by. I hope i managed to cite them all.
seeing as those are incomplete i guess I'll be updating them in the future.
you'd notice again, they are all (excel, then) picture based.. so excuse me if its a little.. 'picture intensive' XD I'll also go ahead and ask for sticky
edit: got yay
an observation I'd like to make is that I think PUP will end up getting only 4 more attachments and it'll be the complete set of 48. cos we have 6 attachments for 4 elements and 5 for another 4. lol

Overload only becomes apparent in 2 cases. 1 is that you're using maneuvers too quickly after activating your automaton - which isnt the case here.
2 is that you're using the same maneuvers again too close or too often. One if the best ways to prevent overload is to cycle 3 or more different elements on your automaton. If you have to only use 2, space them apart well and alternate them (like eg. 20s+ intervals). The 2nd case of overload only occurs when a particular element is being used too often, not when you spam many different elements.
I hope this clears up stuff for u XD

Don't forget that when first summoned the puppet has max or near max overload on all elements thus requiring a cool down after summon to first maneuver command.

(ignorant toth)
Just go be special somewhere else Sharazis. This thread is for people who can spell and use grammar correctly >.>
after reading this quote again i just have to flame you toth :/
I am bilingual my first lanugage is punjabi. My english is pretty good but my spelling and grammer isnt perfect. But WTH has that got to do with pup? and why am i not allowed to post because my english writing skills are not perfect? so everyone who is bilibgual should be marginalized because you are so fucking ignorant and expect people to be perfect?
I would like to see you post a reply in punjabi and we will see how good your fucking grammer and spelling is :/
Im sorry spira for ruining your thread but i had to tell toth off lol
and thanks for listening to my suggestion. It was not a flame at all
(me)
your attachment section is way too breif
