Here's my post I did on the allakazham forum. I'd like more lvl 70+ to try it.

Ok, last night a guy in my LS was telling me how this non-NA SMN was using +chr gears on his summoner job to deal more damage. So I said, what the hell, let's try it.
So I was in Sky killing Tough dolls and pots and I equipped my errant armor, pants and boots. My friend who is a Bard provided me a jester cape +1, a light ring and a melody earring +1. I had a total of +34 chr (if I remember). The avatar I used was Garuda and when the test began, it was darksday.
After about 15-20 skills I was doing an average of 950-1300 dmg per blood pact with predator claws.
Then after, I put on my AF and other equipment that doesn't give me +Chr. I had something like +1 Chr. I used again Garuda and Predator claws on the same type of monsters.
After about 15-20 skills I was doing an average of 650-1100. What was different? The +Chr gear and it was firesday once I began the 2nd test. As far as I know, darksday and firesday doesn't affect Garuda.
Anyway, if you guys like to try new things, test this out and tell us your results.

I hope this isn't true... I'm hoping to take summoner up with my mithra and as everyone knows mithra's don't have that great CHR ; ;

I've tested this +Chr theory and all my tests have been inconclusive as of now. 650-1100 on sprinklers ? I usually do 1300+ every time. Is your summon skill capped?

Summoning skill has not proven anything to me. Taking off all my +summoning skill items doesn't reduce the damage I make. The test, I did it on dolls while camping Despot.
And for the information I am @10 to have skill capped.
Sprinklers are easier than dolls and yeah I always do over 1000 dmg on them.

Hmm...I have not tested this out. But I guess I could try. My Summoning skill is capped for my level.

If this were true, it would explain why the only drawback to the Auester outfit is the chr minuses.
It means you'd get more bloodpacts, but less damage ...
Any idea if this affects the buffs though?

Exactly... SE seems to give something good, but have to pay for it. Ex: The staff they added recently, you get +63MP but your blood pact timer goes up by 3 sec.

Well did you neglect the fact that Errant gives other bonuses besides CHR. o.O;;??

269 Summoning skill capped and with the AF +15 more... It only did 600-1250 dmg ( Titan's Flaming Crush) and with those +Chr equipments it did 580-1000 dmg... Think its best I get Austere robe to delay the blood pact, those Errants aint helping me at all...
