Well, I'm currently working on one. I'm near level 7 and all I've made are stone arrows. I make my own stone arrowheads (Wind crystal+ 2 flint stones) and chocobo fletchings (Wind Crystal + 2 Chocobo Feathers) (flint stone are easy drops by the worms around Sandy, Chocobo feathers are real, real cheap in Port Jeuno). I buy me a couple of hatches (much cheaper from an NPC, don't use the AH for everything, people) and head to Ghesba Outpost for some logging. I mostly get holly, maple, and arrowwood. All these you can turn into lumber (for easy low level Woodworking) or sell as the logs. These usually sell for about 1k at the AH. That means one log and you've about made up for the cost of the hatchets. I Make Stone Arrows (Earth Crystal + Stone Arrowheads + Chocobo Fletching + Arrowwood Lumber) and sell stacks of 99 for 3k at the Sandy AH. Earth Crystals are cheap as dirt and extreamly easy to find outside of Sandy. Wind Crystals I farm off of bats around Sandy and King Ranppeares Tomb. This is the path I'm following so far. It may not be the most efficient method in the books, but I'm ok with that. I'm making pure profit, Its fairly safe, and I'm making stuff I can actually use, and I am trying to raise my archery skill. Also, usually when I'm short on arrowwood logs, I'll use Ash logs and make Ash Poles (Wind Crystal + 2 Ash Lumber) and Ash Clubs (Wind Crystal + Ash Lumber). Also, if you are low on Earth Crystals or Flint Stones for some reason, you can make Wooden Arrows (Wind Crystal + Arrowwood Lumber + 2 Chocobo Feathers + Flint Stone)

1. Bloody Bolts sell better than acid and sleep
2. Elemental arrows sell like absolute crap (and aren't profitable)
3. Elm lumber is stupid, 10k per synth at that low of a level
4. You can barely profit of Shihei even when you're HQ2ing it, so using it to skillup...
5. Oak lumber... see point 3 but switch in "oak"
6. Same thing for ebony lumber.
Not trying to be mean, but that guide is pretty awful.
