Chapter 3-5: Darkness Named

First, head to the Infirmary in Upper Jeuno and talk to Monberaux. Next, head to Neptune Spire in Lower Jeuno and go into Tenshiodo and talk to Ghebi Damomohe (I-7). She'll ask you to bring one of the 3 chips that can be obtained from Pso'Xja.

Bring either one of the above chips back to Ghebi Damomohe to get a key item and a 500 gil reward. Next, go to Beaucidine and enter Pso'Xja via (H-8) tower (near outpost guards) which has a Lv.40 cap. Gazers and Snowballs will aggro at this level.

Directions
  • From entrance, go straight until you reach a circular area. Head to the north branch and you'll see a Red Warp (H-7).
  • After the Red warp, turn right and walk straight ahead to a Black Warp (I-7).
  • Walk west to the 2nd room, turn left and to a Red Warp (H-7).
  • After red warp, turn right and walk straight ahead to a Black Warp (I-7).
  • Go west to the 2nd room and turn left to reach the Elevator area.
  • Head north, turn left and down a flight of stairs to a Stone Gate where you use your Key Item gotten earlier on in Jeuno to enter the Shrouded Maw Burning Circle area.



    Check the Memento Circle to enter the fight. In here you'll fight Diabolos. He is fairly easy to battle if your tankers have blink. He has a AoE Sleep attack that even drinking Posion is hard to counter so have your WHM cast Barsleepra. Once its HP reaches a certain level, Diabolos will start to remove the flooring tiles away in thearena. If you are standing on the tile that is removed you will drop down to the basement below where a swarm of Diremites waiting.

    Diabolos also has a Weapon Skill that causes knock-back effect, which, if you are standing on an isolated tile, will cause you to fall down. Find a wall at the arena sides to face your back to.

    Defeating Diabolos will earn you a title. Return to Upper Jeuno to talk to Monberaux doctor at the Infirmary to finish this chapter and earn another title.
